God Almighty described His Messenger in the Quran, saying: “And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds” So, God says: O Muhammad, with what you have been assigned, you carry the message of God to all people to spread mercy among them. They deal with each other with kindness and intimacy that brings them closer together, closes the doors of sedition, and prevents Satan from achieving his goals in creating hatred and enmity between people.
Cooperation… God’s message to people
Thus, the doors of evil are closed, as God sent His Messenger with mercy and justice to all people without discrimination. Mercy and justice have become the true measure by which a person’s belonging to Islam is measured. And what mercy carries of the highest meanings of humanity, from compassion for the weak, extending a helping hand to the poor, helping the poor, wiping away the tears of the poor, prohibiting injustice, preserving the freedom of man in his belief, not encroaching on his property, standing with the truth, and not transgressing and tyrannizing people and killing the innocent.
God commands Muslims in His saying: “And cooperate in righteousness and piety, and do not cooperate in sin and aggression” (Al-Ma’idah: 2). Cooperation achieves mutual interests for them and lays the foundations for the continuation of stability and security. So that the interests between people continue to grow and grow, which makes people share in defending the stability of their homelands for the continuation of the flow of good things as a result of cooperation among them, which makes them united in protecting their homeland for the continuation of their gains and the preservation of their interests and their development.
God forbids aggression and threatens the aggressors with a painful punishment in this world and the hereafter. God addresses those who have gone astray from the straight path and followed the footsteps of Satan in their aggression against people, attacking their lives, and seizing their property. They corrupt on earth and commit sins and crimes after their aggression and tyranny against people. God Almighty warns them by saying: “And those who have wronged will know what a return they will return” (Al-Shu’ara: 227).
The balance between mercy and Justice
When we put the balance of mercy and justice that God charged His trustworthy Messenger with calling people to deal with them between people as a criterion for the true Muslim, what is the criterion for Muslims who kill people, displace widows, shed the blood of the innocent, corrupt the earth with tyranny, injustice, and aggression without right, practice terrorism in safe societies, and stir up panic and fear among citizens?
Do those terrorists belong to the Messenger of mercy, justice, and peace? Do they follow the verses that God revealed to him calling for justice, kindness, peace, and cooperation? And forbidding aggression against people, following the command of God to Muslims, and following the Messenger of God in his saying: “Indeed, for you in the Messenger of Allah is a good example for whoever hopes for Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much” (Al-Ahzab 21).
Where is mercy and justice in the hearts of terrorists and misguided groups of all their sects? Those wicked people who corrupt the earth, threaten the secure, and kill the innocent. Do their actions represent an application of the standards of mercy and justice? Do their consciences awaken in their hearts?
No, their consciences have died, their hearts have become savage, and their sick souls have hardened. So they have become not belonging to the Messenger of Islam, nor do they follow his biography. They have gone out of the law of God and are fighting God and His Messenger. Satan tempted them to commit those crimes that contradict the verses of the Qur’an and the legislations of the Merciful. Their elders and imams, the works of Satan and his followers, misled them to the path of error and beautified their evil deeds for them. They fell into the traps of Satan and went astray from the straight path.
They have apostatized from Islam, and their connection with the Book of God and His instructions to His servants has been severed. What they do under Islamic slogans by committing terrorist crimes in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in other Islamic countries and countries of the world, is nothing but a satanic act that they have accepted for themselves to be followers of Satan, who seduces his helpers and beautifies their criminality for them. Until the Day of Judgment comes, God Almighty describes when Satan abandons them by saying: “And Satan said when the matter was decided, ‘Indeed, Allah promised you the promise of truth, and I promised you, but I failed you. And I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me and blame yourselves. I am not your savior, and you are not my saviors. Indeed, I have disbelieved in what you associated with me before. Indeed, the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment'” (Ibrahim: 22).
So they were cast in their hands and realized that they had been deceived, so they repented and grieved because they did not find anything of what Satan had promised them of houris and a life of bliss, so they began to plead to God while they were crying, saying as God Almighty described them on the Day of Judgment: “And if you see when the criminals are hanging their heads before their Lord, ‘Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us so that we may do righteous deeds. We are convinced'” (Sajdah: 12).
Alas, you criminals, you will not return. The books have been folded at your death, and the just judgment has been issued on what you have committed of sins and sins. Your reward is Hell for what you used to do. God Almighty answers them by saying: “So taste because you forgot the meeting of this day of yours. We have forgotten you. So taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do” (Sajdah: 14).
The tales of the devils and the lies of the religious scholars will not benefit them, nor those who they call scientists, the owners of illusions and myths, who tempted them to commit crimes with the fabricated narratives about the Prophet, and deluded them that this is the clear truth in killing the innocent and terrorizing the safe, and they ignited hatred in their souls against the sons of their homeland, fighting their state and seeking to overthrow it for the benefit of the enemies of humanity and the enemies of freedom and peace.
Where do they go after their hands have been stained with the blood of the innocent? God Almighty calls them before their death by saying: “Has it not come for those who have believed that their hearts should be humbled for the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth, and that they should not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and the time became long for them, so their hearts became hard, and many of them are fasiqun” (Hadid: 16)
Referring back to the book of Allah
Has it not come for Muslims to fear God, to stop their hands from their brothers and to stop their aggression against each other! And they return to the Book of God, the clear Quran, which calls upon all people to the path of good and a decent life in the shadow of security and peace, and a call for cooperation, compassion, and rejection of conflict.
Has it not come to him who claims to restore the caliphate, appointing himself caliph of Muslims, to colonize the Arab world, which his Ottoman ancestors wreaked havoc on in killing and corruption; to restore the black and hateful past once again to control the Arab world and drain its wealth, and he is the one who embraced the terrorist groups, trained them by his intelligence, and provided them with weapons and money to wreak havoc in Arab countries, killing, corruption, and destruction; like ISIS, the Brotherhood, al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, and others, from the unjust and misguided factions. Raising the banner of Islam without fearing God in his crime against the sons of the Syrian people, the Libyan people, and the Iraqi people, did he not fear the punishment of God that would come to him from where he does not expect it!
Should he not learn from God’s warning, soldiers from his soldiers spread death everywhere, where God’s judgment does not prevent walls, guards, or armies with their deadly weapons!
When God inflicts His anger and punishment for the crimes he committed in killing thousands of the Syrian people, displacing millions, and shedding the blood of children, is what the new Ottoman caliph is doing of treachery, meanness, and invasion of homelands in the name of Islam or faith.
So when will Muslims return to the truth?
So when will Muslims return to the truth, and God Almighty shows them His signs and warns them with them in His saying: “Whenever a sign comes to them from their Lord, they turn away from it (4) They have indeed rejected the truth when it came to them, so they will soon face the consequences of their ridicule.(5)
Why don’t people consider the events of the previous nations, and what God sent down to them of punishment as a result of their injustice, tyranny, and committing various crimes against humanity, and practicing aggression and aggression? Did the invaders and the giants not see how God broke their backs, their armies were defeated, and their powers and greatness collapsed by the power of God and His ability? Britain, which laments her ill luck and weeps for a past that she cannot return with its glories and victories after God inflicted on her with their injustice the factors of defeat and collapse until the disintegration began in its regions inside it and became an example for those who consider. Every tyrant and tyrant, no matter how long the time passes, will be defeated and broken, and he will live with the regret of the past that has faded for people to see in the modern era so that they fear the ability of God to take revenge on the oppressors. What remains of its empire from which the sun does not set, it fears today that it will be torn apart inside it and its members that formed its empire will be divided into fragments, each of which is independent of itself.
Taking lessons from history
Shouldn’t the tyrants look at Great Britain after its fall, torn apart, weeping for a past in which it abused most of the countries of the world with tyranny, injustice, and slavery? Shouldn’t the great powers retreat from their arrogance and greatness to admit that there is no greatness except for God, the One, the Almighty, who destroys the tyrants with a just standard in His saying: “Those ˹are the˺ societies We destroyed when they persisted in wrong,1 and We had set a time for their destruction”
In His kindness and mercy, God Almighty warns His servants to follow truth, justice, and mercy. He warns them with His verses, so that they may return to God, and return from their oppression of man, from the violation of human rights, from killing man, and return to the law of God and His methodology in the Qur’an. They adhere to following the verses of God that the Messenger of God conveyed to people, which are to deal with mercy, justice, and kindness, and to respect human freedom, in what he believes and chooses, and to spread love and peace. In every era, God sends His messengers and prophets to remind people of God’s blessing and His promise to them of the gardens of bliss if they follow His book, and He warns them if they violate His commands if the worldly life has deceived them to corrupt therein and destroy the plow and the offspring. Do they not realize that the punishment of God is severe? Do they not know that God is aware of their deeds? As He Almighty said: “And do not think that God is unaware of what the oppressors do. He only delays them for a day when the eyes will stare.” (Abraham: 4).
That verse mentioned above is a reminder and a warning to people to return to God? When people wake up to the anger of the Almighty, there are no excuses for those who challenged God, no forgiveness for those who wronged one of His creation, no mercy for those who did not have mercy on His servants on earth, did not extend his hand to the needy, wipe away the tears of the destitute, sympathize with the poor and the poor, fear God in his deeds, and obey God in His commands.
The verses of Allah forbid injustice
There are no verses after God that warn people and forbid them from committing injustice and crime, so that man wakes up and repents to God sincerely, seeking forgiveness from his Lord, indeed God is Forgiving, Merciful, and returns from their injustice and restoring rights to people, calling on God sincerely and devotedly, to be kind to them and to have mercy on them and to repent to them, for He is the Most Merciful.
How many nations in the past dominated with their civilizations and fell and perished, after they oppressed and arrogantly defied the verses of God, so they wronged themselves and strayed from the path of truth, so they perished in vain and did not protect their strength, arrogance, and power. The examples and lessons are repeated in the modern era. How many nations have risen with their knowledge and dominated over other peoples with tyranny and oppression, and believed that they were an invincible force. Their strength and arrogance tempted them, and they tyrannized their victories over the weak peoples, to plunder their wealth and sufficed with their belief that they were a powerful force that no one could defeat, and they forgot God, so they forgot themselves, for the power of God would come from where they do not feel, so their works would be frustrated, their strength would collapse, their armies would be defeated, and their greatness would fall. When they realize that the power of God is the greatest, and it is the only one that can destroy the people of oppression and tyranny, no matter how strong they are and their arrogance has overwhelmed them, to turn from first-class countries to second-class countries, after God was angry with them for the crimes they committed against man, with their injustice and oppression, until they became crying over their past and their glories that perished and perished.
A call for all humanity
It is a call to all Muslims, in the face of God’s warning to them of a painful punishment, so return, O people, to your senses, and stop your aggressions against each other, shed each other’s blood, and commit crimes, claiming that God commands you to do so, because you believed the narrations and lies against God and His Messenger, so you underestimated His verses and abandoned His book, after the devils who conspired against the message of Islam misled you, and called you to good, mercy, security, and peace, you will lose peace in the worldly life, as God Almighty said: “We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that this ˹Quran˺ is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a Witness over all things?”
